Rolex Submariner 16618 Sunburst Blue Dial & Bezel 18K Yellow Gold Oyster Pin Band Circa 1989

Up for sale is an authentic Rolex Submariner model number 16618. Featured on this timepiece is an original blue dial with 18K yellow gold tritium luminous round hour markers, an original 18K yellow gold unidirectional bezel with the blue bezel insert, a 40mm 18K yellow gold case, and an original Rolex 18K oyster pin bracelet with the fold over oyster-lock clasp. This watch runs perfectly and keeps excellent track of time. According to the serial number, this watch is an L serial series which indicates the production year of the watch to have started in 1989. From a scale of 1 to 10, this watch would be rated a 8.5 out of 10 considering the age of the watch and the overall condition. We do believe the case and band on this piece has been refinished and polished by Rolex. We do believe the hour hands and the bezel insert have been changed out by Rolex as well. The dial is starting to have some PURPLE patina showing at an angle with sunlight as well. We have NOT polished or refinished this piece. However, it can be done upon request. Please contact us ahead of time if you would like that done. Extra pictures can be provided upon request as well. This watch will fit approximately a 7.25 inch wrist at the end of the band.
